parents teachers meeting

i attended the parents teachers meeting this week. although i am no stranger to my girl, there is always so much to hear and soak in, and even the most simple things like how much she loves to sing, which i always see her doing, are enough to make my day.

i love dad

my father is not only the world's best dad, but he should also be awarded with the world's most gentle granddad! he retired as a cab driver and dedicated all his time, effort and energy to alexis and now, amber, doing his best as a nanny. from nappy change to feeding time to napping time and playing time. he is a treasure and a true blessing to all of us :)

my father has set the standard and has always been the example for the one whom i want to spend the rest of my life with. my perfect one has to:

- treat me like his bride every day, every moment; not just on our wedding day.
- be true to his word and have an honourable character
- lead a hardworking and diligent way of life
- stays faithful
- be my emotional rock

sometimes the similarities i see between my father and my man are amazingly amusing. i am grateful for the two amazing men in my (and alexis's) life :) happy father's day!
