happy birthday to me

if i were to appreciate the fruit of life, i would first learn how to appreciate the tree which bears the fruit and that would be birth. birth is a beginning, a window to a chance of a lifetime. despite birthdays being a momentous occasion, a time to celebrate birth itself as the joy of life, i'm never someone who likes celebrating my birthday until darling dear comes along ♥♥♥

i have been in a body which houses me for 27 years. this feeling is not going to get me excited because i feel i am growing up toooooo fast! now it seems like i'm in the midst of exiting lady-hood yet entering aunty-hood. to simply put it, its like one foot in and one foot out. i'm totally going to start spending wisely, first on anti aging products first.

on an entirely separate note, birthday this year is nothing but amazing, really. i had a terrific birthday celebration. celebrating signifies something happy and of cos, i am absolutely happy! i had a relaxing weekend getaway in batam with darling dear, a wonderful lunch with my family and lots of sms-blasting from my deary friends!
