we miss you

today marks the first week of survival without the man. i am taking care of the girl more than ever. we talk and laugh together every evening. we took many photos together and captured videos of her every single action. somehow it feels bonding, exhilarating. i can't explain it, i will never want to live my life without this little angel :)

he misses home and he misses us. we miss him much too.

they come and they will go

you can't keep everyone by your side, all the time, forever. their happiness will be separate from you. does this mean you have lost them?

vegan black bean brownies

i never thought i would do this.

vegan black bean brownies, tastes much much better than the previous attempt of non-vegan oreo brownies. for a moment, i thought i was in brownie heaven :) i love healthy dessert made with extrodinary healthy ingredients because i love to see people i love eating healthily!

that is not for the girl, no chocolate in her diet yet, probably only when she reaches eighteenth months. but a promise made to her that i will make her blondie with chickpeas beans very soon!

flourless black bean brownies
gluten-free

250g cooked black beans
2 tbsp cocoa powder- dutch or regular
1/2 cup quick oats/almond meal (i use almond meal)
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup pure maple syrup or agave
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup coconut or vegetable oil
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup to 2/3 cup chocolate chips

preheat oven to 175 degrees. combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in a food processor, and blend really well until completely smooth. stir in the chips, then pour into a greased 8×8 pan. cook 18-20 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes.

sense and sensibility

oddly enough, i actually do not like people. maybe it is because my job revolves around people, but in my free time i want to do things that have absolutely nothing to do with people. people do the unfairness of it all because they cannot take many things lying down. but don't tell me to get real because i have not quite got my head around it yet. i do not know who or what i am fighting, but i just am.

after all that is said and done, i hope this sacrificial behavior of mine is worth it. please, no more tricks on me for this and please please please, no two faced turncoats. all the time, i wish i coud sail through life like so many people do.

so in the end, i am still still unable to take down the shields. i carefully close the door after i walk into my world with the man and my little girl. some things never change.

despair

i obsesses over the days when the man is not around. now, i am forced into a growth spurt - i have lost count.
