"Dad always maintained that people don't go on journeys at all but spend a lifetime searching for and gathering evidence to rationalise the beliefs they've held in their hearts since day one. They have new revelations, certainly, but these rarely shatter their core belief structure - they just build on it. He believed that if the base remains intact, it doesn't matter what you build on it, it is not a journey at all. It is just layering. He didn't believe that anyone ever started from scratch. 'People aren't looking for answers,' he often said. 'They're looking for facts to prove their case.'."

a happy girl
i realized and learned alot from my girl who has been growing older day by day. she is one person who is truly happy, honest, unselfish, kind, angelic and have a high moral standards. i have trying to look beyond my life - i'm seeking for peace and freedom and away from hasty life and living with my love ones. guess its not that easy to just dream but i would love if it happens to me in my life once, just so i could be happy. happy to be a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a friend, a colleague, a subordinate, a supervisor and not thinking of anything or anyone else but...myself.
on a side note, there's something about smiley on her tummy,
i don't know exactly what it is that makes her all excited but i just love it!

there's always someone who loves me
sometimes i thought i had lost every feelings i had for work. and i am not so happy that i will be on course this week, feels like many things have yet been accomplished at work.
but anyway, life outside of work has been great. i thinking of snapping my medium length hair. the head feels heavy now. i wonder when i will have this courage. but it's time for a change. again, i'm a pandadol slave, huanted by migraine that somehow fluctuated every now and then. i believe it's due to the weather, my wisdom tooth extraction and probably maybe perhaps my work stress.
the last time i baked was almost six months ago, when the man and i ventured on our lava chocolate cake. last week i decided to start on something simple - chocolate cake because it's been awhile since i've baked but even though it's a fairly easy cake with a hint of brandy, it's equally back-breaking.
the man was very appreciative. i did not get the fudge right and its horribly sweet but yet he managed to gobbled it up. he does not have a sweet tooth. i really wish he has one, but he just doesn't. i love making sweets, i love pretty cupcakes, i love colourful macarons but he could totally care less about buying and eating them himself. but there’s one exception to this…nutella. so the next pastry on my list - nutella cake. nutella is a funny thing, something so simple yet the world goes crazy for, including my sweetless tooth man :)
i've baked, waiting to snap off my hair, scheduling my next waxing appointment, busy photoshooting my cheeky girl who is learning to walk and routinely took a weekend kitty nap. the own slums of my life, i love it :))
