one day at a time

"one day at a time--this is enough.
Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone;
and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come.
live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering."
— Ida Scott Taylor
lately, my life seems to pass amazingly beautifully fast that i do not know if my memory has the capacity and volume to remember these beautiful happenings.

i'm greedy and i want more such of life.

i'm good and i hope everyone is good too (((:

when you're in miami, try panya thai restaurant

feeling listless on the last day,
without any plans after a skinny dip, we hopped onto the car in search for panya thai restaurant.

fortunately. with the raved reviews on forum and with darling's gps intelligence, we located it very quickly (:
the restaurant was quite empty when we arrived, perhaps its on a weekday.
the customers were mostly americans surprisingly.

the menu is pretty long but with a lunch special, it was easy to pick out our choices.
our pick was iced thai tea, coconut juice, very hot tom yam goong, pad thai and medium hot duck curry.
the tom yum goong came first and it was indeed hot, super super hot but super super nice!
surprisingly, darling gulped down everything despite the perspiration and swollen lips.
i lovvve spicy food and this would definitely appeal to me.

the pad thai and duck curry were good. they were so awesome since its been such a long time we had such authentic thai food that i was savouring it slowly,
while my partner goppled his super delicious curry up so quickly with 2 bowls of rice, not surprising.
he had both thumbs up for them. so did me!
the pad thai was so delicious and fragrant and it makes you crave for more. there's nothing to complain about, really.
great food, great service, great ambiance.

naked experience in nude beach, LOL

today,
went over to haulover beach park aka nude beach for an extrordinary experience!!!

the name of this beach says it all, everyone is nude!
from top to bottom, regardless of sizes, ages and genders.
the very mention of this place arouses feelings of embarrassment, i am sure, especially we are non-americans.
but do not forget, after all, we all come into this world wearing only our birthday suits.

as taking snapshots of other nudists, especially without permission, is taboo,
i decided to leave my sony alone and enjoyyyy....

we made a bold decision,
to join in the crowd,
and, i like it (: hooray!!
photos taken but shall keep them for own viewing :)

miami beach but not on the roads

this morning, i was un-thrilled to see the weather forecast.
but, my un-thrill didnt last long, the sun came and i was in the top ten beaches in america - miami south beach.

a beautiful place with lots of hunks, bikini/topless babes, a bed of white warm sand and endless horizon accompanied with sea breeze.

we got quite hyper despite this being our 3rd day of beach-ing ,
we rolled and laughed at each other, tried to surf on the waves.

who cares about the stares,
what matters most is the awesome time spent :D

p/s i wonder if we are driving in singapore or america here.

journey to the lovers key

today was a day at lovers key.

in the early 1900s the islands were only accessible by boat.
it was said that only lovers made the effort to get to this romantic island - thus the name LOVERS KEY.
other than being tired, salty and slightly burnt,
we collected sand all over our bodies and lots of sea shells, again.
all in all, we are happy and enjoyed the quality time spent together - that's enough :D

i like BEACH days

it was another fun-fun-fun suntan day for the couple after being to 3 beaches,
while angel is white (skin-ly!) - all thanks to the indoor, air conditioned working environment in shenton way.

we whipped up a lot of laughter ourselves,
sea shells picking, playing with the water, random flashes of our sony dsc-w120.
we had the best of the best :D

i'm quite surprised that i'm actually still surviving and i want an encore! haha!
finally, or not so finally, i think i quite miss this place quite a bit, and the characters more!

we are heading to manasota beach, blind pass beach & englewood beach tomorrow. a place to rest and relax. a place for some quiet romantic time. a place from city life.

4th day in florida

if there was 2 thing to say about my past 4 days in florida, it would be not-so-sweet and yearning-for-more.
no no, dont get me wrong, i enjoyed myself inside out mickey-mousing and shopping...
but my cold virus followed me from dallas to here,
and that brought my darling truckloads of cold sweat.

i fell in love with a TOD'S bag.
it is priced @ $507 after sale and discount.
well, it was not considered expensive actually, considering the brand.
still being the independent city girl at heart,
no way am i going to let him pay for me! ((:
so i toss a coin
i love you but perhaps, we are just not meant to be together ))):
