4th day of home alone

Darling just called and forcing me to off the laptop and sleep now...argh!

ladies tax-free day

Tax free day starting from today(21 Aug) ~ Sunday(23 Aug). But it only applies to clothing under $100 in amount. It was fun and tiring though. We reached Grapevine at 9.58am and we had to wait outside for the door to open! Hahaha, typical Singaporean ya! We spend 3 hours in F21! Then after that we had popeye for lunch and went to VS, Okley, Abercrombie and then to Super Target for some free/cheap stuff and a drink at starbucks.

I spend alot alot alot...$103.50 on 2 dresses, 2 jumper suit, 1 ali-baba(thats the name that Chloe told me), 1 spag top. I like all of them! But i find the dresses abit short for me, too cuteeee! Hmm, i am seriously thinking if i should return them! I will wait for my darling to come back and i will wear and parade in front of him. I trust his opinion and taste, hahaha!

Also spent about $1.82 in Super Target(Again?! Again?! And Again?!). Today was the best day that i spent in Super Target in this week. This cashier is so nice and friendly! She allowed all our coupons to go through! We never used any expired or illegal coupons so by right, they should go through! I am just wondering why the past 2 days, the cashier that I met are so grumpy. Got 1 fresh chicken, 2 Renu contact lens solution, 2 lip gloss, 1 bread, 3 granny smiths & 1 dove deodorant. Very cheap right??!! I so admire myself also! Hahaha, even better deal that with the receipt, i can get a grande starbucks cold beverage for only $2!!

Tomorrow, i will be going back grapevine with Toom and Bing Bing. I will go to VS this time to check out on a pants for Chloe bought today for only 10 bucks! Bing Bing has also got her Angel credit card from VS. Hahaha, next time can borrow from her cos sometimes the promotion is offered only to Angel card member.

I just had my dinner (half a bread with cheese & tuna) after a cup of cereal in the morning at about 11am. Not much appetite as i just can't help it but feel that something is missing. With lots of time, i went to browse through those photos which we took a long long lime ago.

Suddenly I came upon 2 pictures and i can't help laughing. As you know, we both met in the internet and this is one of the photos which we exchanged last time..haha! Its so funny thinking of how we knew each other! Its really amazing and its all because of fate.

Darling has such a lecher-y look(took during his first trip in USA)!!! And i looked so bloated(fat i mean...=P) & sleepyyy..
Bing Bing will be joining us to Grapevine tomorrow as she has a day off. That is so great! With her as company, she will add more laughter & smiles!

My fingers hurts because i used the mouse pad too much. Too much friction, argh! Suddenly a blue-y thingy caught my eye. ITS A MOUSE!!! A WIRELESS MOUSE!!! Hooray!!!

3rd day home alone

Just came back with Amelia from Super Target (again?!) & Kroger, haha! I bought quite a few stuff for only $6 total. I saw that the Dawn dish detergent 56oz, which i bought in Super Target for only $1.99 is selling in kroger for $6.99! Wow, its kinda expensive!

Though it should has been lesser due to some problems with the Kroger cashier. But its still good overall.

One thing to note when using coupons, i always try to spot those "friendly" and very young cashiers. Sometimes they will scan the coupons without even looking. So nice right? They trust me and i will trust them too! Its all based on trust! But some cashiers will tend to make things difficult. They will look at every single coupon then scan, although there is a long queue behind! Well, angmo just got much patient which i must admit.

Tomorrow i am going F21 with Amelia and Chloe. I hope i can find a good stuff there! Not that i just wanna spend $, but singapore's F21 is simply too expensive and i dunno why! The dress here can be $19.99 but i dun think in singapore, you can find such prices in F21! I practically goes to F21 every weekend with my darling! Sometimes its just to window shop though.

Darling called and said he is waiting for work to do. Now his colleagues and him are just chit-chatting. My last sentence to him is "i miss you"

Finally, today is the 3rd day of home alone. Which means i still have only 1 more week to go! Yeah! Counting down everyday and hopefully the time will pass fast, fast FAST! Woke up at 10.30am today when darling called me. Hearing his voice first thing in the morning simply makes my day =)))

Sometimes darling will suddenly wake up and kiss my face in the middle of the night. But most of the times, i know it! I just pretend to be soundly asleep still, ahahah! He is a dumbo, and he simply just can't give me surprises! Or rather i know him too well that i know what is his next step...



I love the movie "Enchanted"! Its really a nice disney movie! I love the theme songs! Almost all of them! I chose this song "Ever Ever After" by Carrie Underwood as my wedding lunch theme song! Its so catchy and the lyrics is ao meaningful!

2nd day home alone

Just came back from Super Target and USPS(US Post Office) with Amelia. Hmm, considered not bad though I spent a total of $5.88 in Super Target. It should have been $3.88 cause the cashier did not scan one of my $2 coupons. Well, forget it. Maybe he is kinda gan chiong when i handed over 1 stack of coupons to him. Next time i shall be more alert. Amelia had a good buy too though she got rejected for using some coupons. Its so double standard because different cashiers have different coupons policy. I bought exactly the same stuff and mine went through (we are at different cashier line). Nevertheless we both bought a full-sized Dove Deodorant for only $0.29 after coupons! And i guess we will be back for more! The Breyers yogurt is also a very good deal. I paid $0.14/2 after coupons! Wahaha, so happy! I got some free stuff again, such as 2 trial size detergents, 2 trial size vaseline body lotion, 1 trial size renu contact lens solution, 1 personal bread loaf & 1 pack of skittles!

Darling called me just now and reported that he has reached his destination. His side is 2 hour slower than mine and the weather there is much hotter. Poor thing ya! Hope he will not lose weight after he comes back home on next wednesday. He does not take beef and as you know, lots of american food consist of beef. i remember during his last exercise, he was such a poor thing! The cook house prepared beef for almost every meal! And all he ate was potato salad and bread. In the end, he lost weight! I wish i can be like him. Lose weight so easily and put them on is such a difficult task. He even has to take weight gainer now and then! Hai~...ha~!

i am going jogging again later in the evening when the sun is not so strong.

my dumb forever family

finally day 1 of being home alone ending soon. Darling called me @10.22pm after his dinner and bath. We chatted for while but i chased him to sleep cause he woke up at 5.30am today. The show time changed from 7.30am to 9.00am but darling only checked his mobile phone this morning at about 6.10am. Heng, he checked his handphone else he will be there at his base when nobody is there yet, ha! So DUMBO right?!

I keep signing today cos i just feel so empty. Darling has instructed our DUMB FOREVER FAMILY to take care of me. Haha! What is this DUMB FOREVER FAMILY??? Well, its a family that consist of Dumbo The Flying Elephant & Forever Friends Bear!


Papa Dumbo and Little Smartie was given to me during our dating times. I was so excited when i first saw this soft toy in Novena Square. Cos his name is Dumbo and i always tell Darling that he is a real BIG DUMBO! Mama Bear was given to me this year during Valentine's Day. MonKey & Poodle was caught by Darling in the machine outside Wal-mart during his exercise last time. So together they make 1 family. Haha! Whenever darling makes me angry, he will imitate cartoon voice and use Little Smartie to coax me..childish ya but surprisingly, i will smile!

Darling and i have been together for more than 2 years. I have also grown very dependent on him. When we were dating last time, we met every weekends, unless there is really urgent matters. He will also come to my office lobby to wait for me whenever he is in the morning shift. Gradually, i know i cannot live without him. I know i must learn to be independent but i simply just can't, however i will try.

Had an chat over MSN with my NTU rommie just now. Its been a long time i last chatted with her. Well, i mentioned to her about some of the problems which i am facing now. And she did help me clear some of my thoughts. Thank you, Shujia! I think i know what to do now, ha!

Finally watch finish HK TVB Serial - ID精英. Now I am going to continue to watch another TVB Serial - 烈火雄心3.

Going to Super Target & CVS with Amelia and maybe, Chloe tomorrow! Hope to get some more good deals! =)

first day home alone

I just came back from my jog and had my bath. And also went to my leasing office to fetch my package from VS. Hmm, i ordered a dress, a bra and a panty. However, i decide to return the dress. The dress is nice but i just feel fat in it! Well, maybe the dress is nice but not nice on me :(

I am going down to Super Target tomorrow. Printed lots of coupons and did alot of researches today. Sprouts Farmers Market has many good deals too. I like to go Sprouts. It carries lots of organic and natural food. And they sells cereals in bulk! Means i just take the quantity i want and just pay for it. Its good, i like it! Because sometimes i just wanna try a particular flavour of cereals, or nuts and i just get a handful. They will just charged you accordingly! My mummy wants me to help her see if USA has organic rasins or dried fruits. Well, that is also my task for tomorrow.

I gave Amelia many tips on couponing today. Haha, she even commented that i am professional. But i feel i am just being aunty..ha! But nevertheless, we are just trying to save $ right?

I am trying to look up the internet for nice recipes. Wanna prepare a nice dinner on next wednesday. But did not seem to find any...

This morning, Darling did a good deed. He donated $60 to Goodwill and $20 to St Judes. I am so proud of you, darling dear!

I have been wanting to get this LV Damier Trevi GM bag since long long time ago but because of its price, i simply just can't bear to buy it. It costs USD2040 and Trevi PM costs USD1660 (S$2510 in Singapore). However i am determine i will own it one day!!!

Neverfull GM cost lesser, about USD750. Its popular amoung many people, maybe because of its price.

I had a chance to buy them earlier this year because my air stewardess friend flew to France. But i consider that darling and i also plan to go on holiday trips, i decided to postpone my thoughts of getting these 2 bags. I often shop with darling in galleria (Singapore & USA) and i always like to step into Louis Vuitton boutique to admire their European bags. They really look so wonderful! I compared the price between USA and Singapore and surprisingly, the Louis Vuitton in USA is slightly more expensive than in Singapore! Perhaps is due to the tax.

Well at least to me, i feel i must get at least a couple of Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chloe, Tods, Mui Mui etc bags & wallets & clothings perhaps in my life (i think darling gonna faint after reading this post)..haha! Some people may feel that i am brand conscious, hmm...maybe i really am!

I am so sad...darling just left. Same as all the previous times, i cried again =(
Need to start to make myself busy again to numb the sadness, guess the only way is SHOPPING!!

mixed feelings

Today is kinda mixed feelings. Sian that I could not get my F21 dress which i like and darling going off tomorrow :( But i had a nice time with darling today. Went to CVS, Walgreens, Grapevine, Goodwill and lastly Cici's pizza for dinner.
Darling came back at 8+am today while i was still sleeping. He slept while I woke up at around 11am to prepare lunch. Cooked noodle soup and it was still considered nice though i did not have proper ingredients. I throw in everything i had left in my freezer. Need to clear stock, haha! I need not cook when darling is not around. Whenever he goes on exercise, i eat healthily. No oil, no deep fried stuff etc. All i eat is cereal + milk, fruits. I need not buy to stock too as i already bought a few boxes of cereals whenever they are on sale! But i may need to make a trip down to Super Target tomorrow. I am going to buy lots of stuff using coupons again!

I bought many things from CVS & Walgreens today.
I only spent 3 bucks on all these...achievement!
I also realised that I have 24 tubes of unopen toothpaste :P

I tried 1 F21 dress today. Its a woven red tunic sleeveless top which can also be a dress. Its not very cheap, $27.90. But i like it and decided to buy it liao. Size S suits me but its teared. And its the one and only size S in the store! So sian right??!! I quickly came home and tried to search online but in vain. I went back to Grapevine again to try on size M but i find it still kinda big. Size S is just right! Even darling says that its nice! ARGH!!! I will be back maybe later this week to try my luck again..

Yummy, fruit juice from darling! My dad used to make fresh fruit juice for all my sis and me on Sunday. We are a family of health-conscious! My parents jog 3 times a week! We used olive oil for cooking! And my mum eats avocado just like that...i feel its kinda yucky but she enjoys it! They buy organic rasins, dried berries, etc! And of cos, i did not let them down and i took over most of them (i jog now, i use olive oil, i eat healthy, etc), just except the eating avocado part unless its in the california roll. Darling made a promise to me that he will also make fresh fruit juice for me everytime! And he did it and is still doing it :)

family planning

Finally, my clothes are ironed! Total, I ironed Darling 6 tops, 5 working top, 2 set of uniform, 2 burmudas & my 9 tops & 2 shorts! WOW, thats the after effect for being lazy, haha! I always iron clothes and clean the house at least once a week. However, my clothes have been accumulated for 2 weeks. That explains why I took 1hr to iron everything. I have the habit of wearing nicely ironed clothes. I too make sure Darling has nice ironed clothes too! Maybe its due to my dad, who is half a house husband and half a working man. My dad is much more meticulous than my mum! He works as a taxi-driver during the day. After he comes back from work, he cooks, cleans the house and irons the whole family's clothes! Last time, he even iron our pyjamas! People always says girls tend to find husband who resembles their dad, and i find it very true! Darling is 80% like my dad's character! Patient, very family-orientated, responsible, DUMBO (which means not romantic, haha!) & very meticulous & much more! My parents are a very loving couple, which Darling agrees. Though they are already in their 50s & 60s, they still hold hands when they go out, so sweet right??! My dad still gives flowers to my mum during Valantine's Day, Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, etc! Whenever my mum does overtime, my dad will prepare dinner and wait till my mum gets home! No matter how late, he waits. My mum is the luckiest woman in this world! My dad always say "girl, don't bully ah-cai ar!" Hai~, and i am seem to be always the bad gf/wife who bullies him...haha! Whenever Darling and I quarrel, he always seems so sad and I always seem so fierce. I looks like a mum scolding my son! There are times darling is so sad that he kneeled down cring, asking me for forgiveness! Actually its nothing big issue but i know i am just throwing a tantrum and demanding. I never say sorry and i never give in! But i always melt when darling looks at me in his watery eyes apologising. All i want is to hug him and say sorry as well! I know I never marry the wrong man. Darling loves me much more than 100%. Amd i know i love him just as much. =)))

While i was ironing, many things run through my head. These few days, Darling & i talk about family planning - Baby. There are actually many pros about having a baby now.

Your eldest sis does not want to give birth so how about you?" My ideal age of having a baby is actually 2 years later, when i am about 28. But suddenly i feel there are more pros and cons of having a baby now! So am i going to be a mummy soon? Hahaha...stay tuned!

So sian that Darling is on guard-duty today =(. Just came back with Bing. Went CVS, Walmart & Tom Thumb, then we had a late lunch cum ice-cream @Braums! I love Braum's! Braum's is an old-fashion american ice-cream place. The deco is so-so and it does not look nice on their appearance but their ice-cream is WOW!!! Their ice-cream are delicious and most importantly, CHEAP! A double dip for only 1.99USD (around $2.50)! The serving is so big too! They had many special flavours such as Cherry Pecans & Cream, Birthday Cake, Black Walnut etc.

Look @ how big the double dip is! Bing & I have to share 1 cos I really can't finish.


Well, I had a good run today. Spend only $3 on so many things!!! Even the cashier praised me! Wahaha! Darling does not approve of me buying so many things with so little amount of money. He always like to put in some chocolates in my basket so the amount will not be less than $1. I always scold him for that too...=P. He is rather paiseh when it comes to couponings. But well, I feel couponings are legal in USA. As long as I do not use expired coupons, why not right?


Darling loves golfing. I feel so angry with myself & sad now cos I saw in Sickdeals.com this morning that Tiger Wood PGA Tour Wii game is only $30 with free shipping! I went to Walmart to check it out and it costs $50 there! I quickly come back wanting to place an order but its already dead. Means its already out of stock. Its a good deal and I am always so slow. I should have placed an order this morning but why didn't I do that???? ARGH!!! My wedding anniversary is in Nov and I wanna order it for Darling. Now...I have to think of another..=((

Delany Vineyards & Winery

Went to a Grapevine yesterday. We harvest many grapes!! The grapes are not the ones we usually eat. They are much smaller and taste kinda sour and very seedy. We reach there at about 7am. It is already very crowded! Maybe because this harvesting is only held once a year. Actually there suppose to be a few more of Darling's colleague but as we reached quite early, we did not manage to see them.

We had much fun! But it was also very hot. The wine tasting starts at 10am however, the 3 of us are already very hungry, we left before 10am. Its not good to drink alcohol on an empty stomach ya. (Darling & I had wingstop for supper the night before at around 12am, that explains why we could not digest our breakfast when we woke up, =P) Bing & me took many many photos! I like to take photos because I want to leave everything in a picture! Its afterall once in a lifetime to be at the winery.

I had a long day yesterday! Firstly I woke up very early to went to Grapevine for Grapes Harvesting. After that I went to Kroger and Target. Bing Bing again came my house again as Darling cooked Pasta for dinner. And of cos, we played Wii again.

I had a crazy time at Kroger yesterday! Most of the things I got are less than $1 or almost free! Woohoo...finally I see so many angmos with coupons!

-2 apple chips, (no coupons but my favourite!) $1 each

I bought all these for only about $20!! So proud of myself!

Recently, I have been getting something free again. I got St Ives Facial Scrub and Renu Contact Lens Solution. I got 3 trial size St Ives in my mail yesterday. I don't even remember signing up for these free stuff! As for the other 3, I have $1 coupons for it. The trial size only cost $0.99 @ CVS and thus FREE! I don't use St Ives Facial Scrub at all but since its free...why not?? Ha!
I got a few Renu Contact Lens Solution coupons. These solution are prices at $1.60 @ Target. But my coupons value is $2. Means I got them free and even earn $0.40 back! I have been crazy about using coupons for Trial Size recently. Its so nice to get things free, which you can never do that in Singapore!
